International Women's Day Gala

On March 8th, the International Women's Day gala celebration, hosted by Ms. Sharon Doyle was held at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles. International Women's Day designated on March 8th is a global day celebrating social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

This is a day that also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. International Women's Day has occurred for more than a century with the first one gathering in 1908 supported by more than a million people. Today's International Women's Day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.

The evening's celebration included a red carpet step and repeat photo shoot, a delicious serving of heavy hors d'oeuvres and a Happy Hour from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

Tributes were performed by entertainers such as Legendary singer/songwriter Carol Connors, multi-Grammy award winner David Longoria, accomplished recording musician Michael Raye, mezzo-soprano Hiroko Yoshinaga, singer Jamie Bacani Darwin, and other emerging artists.

The event included a five-course dinner with a specially prepared menu, live music, and a themed fashion show titled “The Golden Era of Beauty.” This show highlighted the designs of renowned creators such as Ken Barlis, a Project Runway winner, Will Franco, and fashion designer and creative director Tommy Le.

Additionally, the evening featured the presentation of the Women's Inspiration Awards from honoring women such as Congresswoman Diane Watson, pageant producer Virgelia Villegas, and American martial artist and actress Cynthia Rothrock, along with others who have made significant contributions to their communities and the world at large.

Truly an unique, magical International Women's Day Gala, and a perfect evening to celebrate women.
