Las Patronas Luncheon

The scene was the La Jolla Country Club on October 16th in celebratory fashion as members of Las Patronas welcomed 8 new ladies into the fold and announced the grand success of the "Wonderland" themed gala this past August having raised $947,818 for the benefit of 9 community groups who lend their helping hand to those in need within San Diego.

This year's beneficiaries, each receiving tens of thousands of dollars in support of their efforts are the Alpha Project for the Homeless, American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego, Family Health Centers of San Diego, La Maestra Family Clinic, Outside the Lens, Rady’s Children’s Hospital, San Diego Adaptive Sports Foundation, and San Diego Fire and Rescue Foundation.

Plans are in the making for the 2020 Jewel Ball to be held on August 8, 2020, and appropriately to be named the "2020 Spectacular"  with the venue for the gala chosen as the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
