On August 5th, in celebration of its 71st Jewel Ball, the theme "Taking Flight" highlighted the glorious days of luxurious air travel in its beginning years. Some 600 guests joined in a festive reception and thereafter enjoyed dinner and dancing under the stars. Proceeds from the event are to benefit some 40+ charitable organizations given by Las Patronas during the coming year.
