Local Producers Attend "Beverly Luff Linn" Hollywood & San Diego Premiers

Local executive producers Patti Judd and Gregory Shockro and GPS Film Partners announce the release of their film "An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn", an edgy unconventional romantic-comedy, which debuted as an audience favorite at this year's Sundance Film Festival and was picked up by Universal Pictures. Beverly Luff Linn's west coast premier took place Monday night, October 8th to a full house at Hollywoods's historic Grauman's Egyptian Theater with cast and filmmakers hitting the red carpet prior to the screening with an intimate after party held at Essex & Beauty. A local pre-release premiere was hosted by the San Diego International Film Festival on Saturday, October 13th at the Arc Light Cinemas in La Jolla.Cast and film makers in attendance for the Hollywood premiere included writer/director Jim Hosking, co-writer David Wike, producers Sam Bisbee and Theodora Dunlap, along with stars Aubrey Plaza and Craig Robinson.
The story follows Lulu Danger's (Plaza) unsatisfying marriage taking a turn for the worse when a mysterious man from her past comes to town to perform an event called "An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn; For One Magical Night Only".
The stellar cast features Aubrey Plaza, Emile Hirsch, Jemaine Clement, Craig Robinson, and Matt Berry.
The film was funded by the British Film Institute (BFI) with National Lottery funding, Film4, and GPS Film Partners. Producers are Park Pictures, Wigwam Films, and Rook Films. The film released on October 19th in the U.S. in select theaters nationwide, On Demand and Digital.
International release was on October 26th.
