Nationally renowned speaker Ms. Tarana Burke, an American activist and business executive who founded (2006) the Me Too movement, which seeks to assist survivors of sexual violence was present and spoke at the luncheon.

The luncheon was attended by some 500 guests who enjoyed a champagne reception, silent auction, a sit-down lunch and presentation from Ms. Burke and the Directors of the Center.
