The Cruise4Kids annual Teddy Ball, held this year at the Hyatt Regency at Aventine is a high energy, black-tie holiday celebration hosted yearly in San Diego. Our event brings together San Diego’s finest to collect teddy bears for sick & underprivileged children, promote awareness of our beneficiaries, and celebrate the Christmas season.
Each guest is required to bring a new stuffed teddy bear, which we collect for distribution to multiple organizations (Autism Tree Project Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito, Miracle Babies, Easter Seals SoCal, Promises2Kids, Father Joe's Villages, and other local churches and orphanages) in time for holiday gifting.
As guests entered they were treated to a paparazzi experience on the red carpet on their way to a night of festivities, which includes live DJ, dancing, confetti cannons, multiple bars, and a huge pile of teddy bears, silent auctions, raffles, magicians, photos with Santa & Elves, photo booth, candy buffet and an exclusive VIP Lounge.
Guests enjoyed the photo opportunity of submerging themselves into the large collection of teddy bears called Teddy Wall.C4K “Cruise 4 Kids” is a nonprofit organization that started as a sports & exotic car rally fundraiser in 2011 by founder Nino Venturella as a benefit for the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito.
With the immense success of the C4K Rally, it became an ever-growing annual affair with a winter black tie charity event called The Teddy Ball in 2013 and The Bunny Ball in spring of 2014. In September of 2014, C4K received its 501c3 status and now organizes multiple events that benefit various youth organizations and foundations. C4K is on the path to grow its outreach through its unique events, fundraisers, and branding.
