On May 7th, Father Joe's held it annual charity gala at The US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego beginning with a cocktail reception offering a colorful array of silent auction items, followed by a sit-down dinner and entertainment.
Each spring, Father Joe's Villages hosts its signature black-tie event, the Children’s Charity Gala, to raise funds for critical programs and services for children and families experiencing homelessness in San Diego.
This year’s theme, Hope Blooms reflects how we see all of the children we serve growing into their full potential.
The funds raised at the Gala will fund emergency support and life-sustaining services like housing, food and healthcare, as well as therapeutic childcare, academic support, tutoring and family counseling for the over 900 children experiencing homelessness we serve each year.
