The Junior League of San Diego hosted its 3rd Annual Gala at Morgan Run Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe on Saturday, October 13 from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m.
Funds raised at our Annual Gala support the League’s Mission Based Programs for San Diego’s Transition Age Foster Youth Community (Brand of Brothers, Solutions Summit, Popup Wellness Fairs, Collaboration with our Community Partners and the TAY Mentor Program), assist San Diego County partners to reduce human trafficking, train women to become effective community leaders and advocates for social change within our San Diego communities.
The Black-tie Gala Featured:
- Hosted cocktail reception with silent auction
- Gourmet dinner honoring recipients of JLSD’s Spirit of Community Award
- Exciting live auction
- An opportunity to kick up those dancing shoes with the band
Attendees were encouraged to dress in 1920’s black-tie attire.
Spirit of Community Award
In line with our mission, we are honored to once again acknowledge outstanding members of our community for their work towards positive change in our community and/or who have demonstrated our core values as extraordinary volunteers within our community, through the JLSD Spirit of Community Awards.
The 2018 Spirit of the Community Award recipients received their award at the JLSD Annual Gala.
