International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This is a day that also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. IWD has occurred for more than a century with the first one gathering in 1911, supported by more than one million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.
The event celebrated our political leaders, our entrepreneurs, teachers, those who serve our country, and tomorrow's leaders. The event was broadcast internationally.
