The evening of August 10th, the La Jolla Music Society celebrated its annual series of summer concerts hosting a SummerFest Gala at the home of Maureen and Tom Shiftan aside La Jolla’s Windansea Beach. The festive event featured cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and a live musical performance.

Proceeds from the gala provide the primary funding for the Music Society’s learning and engagement programs, which each year reach nearly 11,000 schoolchildren and adults throughout San Diego County.

The 2024 SummerFest extends through Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla.
