A gathering of enlivened attendees joined the excitement and sounds at the Rock & Roll Avalanche held at the iconic Music Box in downtown Little Italy on September 21st in support of the Immunotherapy Foundation.
The 6 pm opening welcomed VIP guests to the preferred lounge with skyline views of downtown, a pre-party reception, open bar and sumptuous cuisine.
A live auction to support ongoing research was held during the evening followed by a performance by the ever popular punk-rock star Billy Idol.
The immunotherapy Foundation (IF) is a non-profit organization that strategically funds the most promising cancer immunotherapy research, focused on HPV-driven cancers. IF works directly with world-class researchers to accelerate the discovery and development of new and improved immunotherapies for patients by translating multiple research projects into the clinical setting and creating a robust portfolio of pre-clinical immunotherapies and award-winning research at the University of California - San Diego (UCSD) and the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology (LIAI), as recognized by the Cancer Research Institute.
