The Food Bank’s annual Chefs, Cork & Craft Gala took place on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at our 90,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Miramar.
The evening featured more than 30 of San Diego County’s finest chefs. Each chef was assigned to a table of 10 guests, acting as that table’s personal chef for the evening, preparing a multi-course dinner with drink pairings. The evening also included an opening reception with craft cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, a “wine wall,” and live musical entertainment.
Proceeds from the gala will support critical hunger-relief programs including the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program which provides weekend backpacks of food to school children living in poverty. Visit Food 4 Kids Backpack Program for more information.
