On Saturday, September 29, event co-chairs Becca & Jason Craig, Cambra & Randy Finch, and Zoe & Eric Kleinbub welcomed nearly 400 guests for a spectacular evening under the stars at the 16th annual Starry Starry Night.
The event was generously hosted by the Sahm Family Foundation at the stunning Del Dios Ranch, home of the late Roland and Ramona Sahm. Attendees mingled in the estate’s magnificent pool house with custom, hand-crafted cocktails from Snake Oil Cocktail Co. Chef Jeffrey Strauss and the team at Pameplemousse Grille served a gourmet meal highlighted by delicious duck confit.
Guests bid on a competitive Live Auction, including a week at a house in Hanalei Bay and a dinner for 24 in Pamplemousse Grille’s private dining room. Donors raised their paddles to directly Fund-a-CASA, generously supporting our Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. The evening concluded with celebratory dancing, drinks, and desserts.
The gala grossed $1.5 million in support of Voices for Children and its volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. With the funds raised through Starry Starry Night, Voices for Children will be able to provide a CASA volunteer to hundreds of abused, abandoned, or neglected children in San Diego County.
