Behind Strut for Sobriety! is A New PATH (Parents for Addiction Treatment and Healing), a nonprofit dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding substance use disorders. Through education, compassionate support and advocacy, the organization promotes access to treatment and recovery resources while championing drug policies that emphasize care. Its work includes overdose prevention and naloxone training and distribution, supporting individuals and families affected by addiction.

A New PATH celebrated its 22nd annual Strut for Sobriety! on September 26, 2026, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. Marking National Recovery Month, the gathering brought together boutique shopping, a luncheon, an awards presentation and a fashion show in support of the organization’s work. Professional models shared the runway with individuals in recovery, offering a personal expression of hope and perseverance. Blending fashion with a meaningful cause, the event celebrated recovery while underscoring the role of compassion, community and accessible care.
