The Tea3 Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization fundraises for children, animals and the military, presented a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for only 80 players to play the course that was home to the Battle at The Bridges, that featured such golfers as Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods!
Teaming with the Randy Jones Foundation, a 501(c)(3) San Diego non-profit organization, for military families, kids, and our community, Tea3 is funding Baseball and Golf camps that provide professional instruction and opportunities which would otherwise be unavailable to these children 8 to 14 years of age.
The Invitational Scramble day started with Check-In at 10:30 am with a shotgun start at 12:00 Noon, followed by a delicious lunch and beverages and goodies on the Course.
The players and guest were then welcomed to cocktails and a fabulous gourmet Barbeque Dinner in The Bridges Grille.
There were many Hole in One opportunities, and non-golfers were welcomed to join in for dinner and the evening program.
Funds raised during the event and presented to Shelter to Soldier amounted to $200,000.
