Women of Dedication Luncheon

The 58th Annual Women of Dedication luncheon held to honor the amazing 2024 Women of Dedication Honorees for their commitment and devotion to serving San Diego.

Evelyn and Ernest Rady were awarded The Peggy Matthews Legacy Award for their profound impact on our community and The Salvation Army's mission.

Recognized were Honorary Chairs, Louarn and Alan Sorkin for their years of service and philanthropy to so many organizations in San Diego. A presentation followed the live auction depicting The Rady Center Project. Those in attendance found memorable items for purchase at the vendor display as well as during the live auction. Attendees raised their paddle in support of The Salvation Army to reach its goal to build the 200+ bed facility downtown for those experiencing homelessness.

The Salvation Army is committed to serving those in need without discrimination, and with the generosity of those within our community, together we can  make this project a beacon of hope for those suffering in San Diego.
